The kidney stone model is suitable for patient information since it allows for exemplary explanation of urinary stones (urolithiasis) and kidney stones (nephrolithiasis). It is mounted on a stand and a key card is included. The model shows a right kidney in natural life-size which is opened to show the internal structures. The renal pelvis, the renal chalices and the ureter are opened as well to show concretions and stones in the typical locations:
