The coloured model shows the elements of the external, middle and inner ear in three times life-size. The eardrum with malleus, incus and stapes is removable. Other removable parts are the cochlea and labyrinth with vestibular and cochlear nerves, as well as one half of the cochlea. The model is mounted on a base plate. It is suitable for patient information, e.g. in an otologist practice or for the education of future physicians as well as for biology classes at school.
